State Fair Community College hires Audio Acoustics to help with their auditorium renovation
State Fair College, located in Sedalia, Missouri, enrolls over 5,000 students per year throughout 14 counties. This thriving campus boasts small class sizes, a beautiful campus and some of the lowest tuition fees in the state of Missouri. As part of their auditorium renovation, Audio Acoustics was proud to help update the auditoriums severely outdated sound system.
Audio Acoustics managed the installation, testing, training and commissioning of the new advanced sound system designed by Avant Acoustics. The installation consisted of a full replacement of the headend, including: mixer, processing, amplification and new loudspeakers. To reduce costs, the existing hard-of-hearing equipment, CD player, cassette players and equipment racks were integrated into the new system. After proper antenna distribution, their wireless microphones were also determined to be usable.
Also included:
- Moving from an analog 24-channel mixing console to a new state-of-the-art Yamaha QL5 32-channel digital mixing console
- Installation of a Biamp Tesira FORTE processor
- Installation of Bose Powermatch PM8500N and PM4250N network amplifiers
- Installation of Bose Roommatch RM12040, RMSHADE and RMAFLG speaker cluster modules
- Installation of an Electro-Voice EVF1181 18” subwoofer above the main cluster
