Audio Acoustics was selected in 2021 to complete the audio installation of the John Goodman Amphitheater on the Missouri State University campus in Springfield, Missouri.
With a long-standing history in the Springfield area, MSU’s Tent Theater has brought outdoor summer entertainment to thousands for over 60 years. After a compelling and successful campaign, led by famous alumnus John Goodman, MSU’s Tent Theater was able to secure the funds needed for this incredible endeavor. The open-air facility includes a permanent stage with 350 removable tiered seats in just over 7,700 square-feet and is located in the beautiful Judith Enyeart Reynolds Arts Park.
Completed in the fall of 2022, John Goodman Amphitheater is now set to not only host the yearly summer Tent Theater, but year-round productions of varying shapes and sizes.
Audio Acoustics was proud to be brought in to work in concert with a consultant to install audio and sound solutions that were selected to integrate with new and pre-existing equipment.
